GDPR
The GDPR is a European regulation that entered into force on May 25, 2016 and has applied in the Member States since May 25, 2018.
It introduces a series of measures setting the legal framework for the protection of personal data within the European Union. This regulation applies to all private and public organizations that process (collect, handle, etc.) personal data.
Lawmakers have provided for a series of administrative penalties in the event of non-compliance, ranging from a simple warning to a fine of up to 20 million euros or 4% of the company's revenue for breaches of the rules on consent or on transfers of personal data outside the European Union.

It is made easier by the lists of values pre-loaded in the software, which offer users drop-down menus (data categories, ...). Several features are available in the processing activity management tool (duplicating processing activities, moving processing activities, duplicating entities and sub-entities, ...).
The record of processing activities and the processor's record (on behalf of) are generated automatically.
Impact assessment management
The software helps you assess whether a data protection impact assessment is needed, and also guides you through the impact assessment of processing activities.
Several features are available in the impact assessment management tool. A register is generated automatically by the software.
Consent management
The software lets you manage the consent method for each processing activity.
When entering a processing activity that requires consent, the software lets you define the form of consent and whether or not it has been obtained (linked to the alert system)
Validation cycle - Status history
To ensure that processing activities comply with the GDPR, a validation cycle involving the 3 key skills (business, IT and legal) is provided before validation by the DPO. The status history shows the various exchanges between these skills.
Technical and organizational measures management
The measures are pre-loaded in the list of values and offered to the user when entering a processing activity.
A register is generated automatically by the software.
It lets you manage measures and select existing and/or planned measures.
Data breach management
In addition to providing a tool to create and manage data breaches, the software helps you assess whether you need to notify the supervisory authority and/or the people affected by the breach. A register is generated automatically by the software.
Data subject request management
The software provides a tool to create a data subject request, as well as a management tool for all data subject requests, with an alert system for missed deadlines. A register is generated automatically by the software.
Processor management (external parties)
All the information about external parties (processors, joint controllers, ...) is pre-loaded in the list of values to make it easier to add processors to each processing activity.
In addition, the software lets you identify, for each processor (each external party), the processing activities they are involved in. This makes it easier to produce the various mandatory documents, such as data processing agreements, ...
Alert management
GDPR gaps are automatically identified by the software through alerts. A register of all alerts is generated automatically.
Processing activity archiving & Versioning
The software lets you archive each processing activity. Validated versions can be viewed and edited easily, at any time (versioning).
User access management
Managing user rights in the software is simple and precise.
